The batt ery is either too hot or
too cold. In this

► Bring the Tablet PC up/down to a normal
temperature again.
► If the operating time of the battery life is
extremely short, the battery is probably too
old. Replace battery if necessary.
You may have an application r unning that
consumes a great deal of power due to frequent
accessing of the hard disk drive or connected
external devices.
► Use the mains adapter as frequently as
possible.
The maximum brightness may have been set
for the screen.
► Re duce the brightne ss of the screen to
lower energy consumption: You will find the
setting unde r Control Panel – Hardware and
Sounds – Windows Mobility Center.

If the error message occurs repeatedly, the
buffer battery in the Tablet PC is flat.
► Co ntact your sales outlet or our customer
service centre.
System CMOS checksum bad - default configuration
used
The system configuration information is
incorrect.
► Switch off the Tablet PC.
► Switch on the Tablet PC.
► Keep the
tablet button pressed
and switch the Tablet P C on.
► In the
BIOS Setu p, select the Exit menu.
► Select the entry Load Se tup Defaults.
► Sele
ct OK and press the Enter key.
