Connecting the Tablet PC to the GripBattery
The GripBattery is charged even if it is connected to the mains
adapter without a Tablet PC.
With a c onnected GripBattery, the mains adapter can be connected both to
the system and to the GripBattery. Depending on the setting in Q702 , th e
system and G ripBattery are charged in parallel or in series.
Note that the connector of the GripBattery is only designed for this
Tablet PC. To preve nt damage to the device or the GripBa ttery, do not
connect any other devices to t he GripBattery.
GripBattery
► R emove the power plug of the mains adapter from the mains socket.
► Pull the mains adapter c
able out o f the DC jack (DC IN) of the Tablet PC.

► Positio
n the Tablet PC so that it is in line with the storage space of the GripBattery.
► Press the GripBattery onto the Tablet PC (1) until you feel it engage in the connector.

t the power cable (2) to the mains adapter.
► Plug the power cable into the mains socket (3).

ct the mains adapter cable (4) to the DC jack (DC IN) on the GripBattery.
