Connecting an external monitor
HDMI port (only M ulti-functi
onal Cradle)
HDMIport
The HDMI port of your Multi-functional Cradle can be used to connect an exte rnal
amplifier, LCD TV or a plasma TV w ith an HDMI co nnection.
► Connect the data cable to the
external device.
► Connect the data cable to
the HD M I port.
Some LCD televisions have only two loudspeaker ports and therefore
cannot reprodu ce Dolby Digital or DTS. To play back HDMI sound, you
must change the HDMI sound settings accordingly.
You can find the settings under Control Panel - Hardware and Sound. Deac tivate the
settings for DTS Audio and Dolby Digital to enable playback of HDMI sound.
VGA monitor port (only Multi-functional Cradle)
An analogue mo
nitor is connected to the analogue VG A monitor port. The display output
is limited to
a maximum of two screens at the same time.
