Working with the Tablet PC
Select display orientation (portrait or
landscape orientation)

You c an choose to use either portrait or landscape orientation for the display.
Windows 8.1
You can change these settings under Windows 8.1 Desktop - Control Panel -
Hardware and Sound - Windows Mobility Center / Rotate screen.
To deactivate automatic switching between portrait and landscape orientation, select Control
Panel Appearance and Personalization Display Screen Resolution.
In the Fujitsu Tablet Controls settings, proles are saved for operation
with different s creen orientations. These proles have preset standard
congurations that can be modied as desired.
These settings do not just affect the monitor settings on the Tablet PC, but
also an external monitors that may be connected.
Using ngers
You can execute c
ertain commands by using your nger tip on the touchscreen of your device.
Everything whi
ch you can select or activate using your nger tip can also
be selected or
activated using the stylus pen.
Calibrate th

operation of the device.
If W indows 8.1 is installed on your Tablet PC, your Tablet PC is
already calibrated a t initial setup.
If a different op erating system is installed on your Tablet PC, you must calibrate it with
your n gers before rst use, so that it recognises your ngertips as accurately as possible.
As soon as you ascertain that the accuracy is deteriorating, you
must recalibrate the device.

Windows 8.1 Desktop
To calibrate, call up the Ha rdware and Sound / Table t PC Settings function
in the Control Panel. You need to calibrate both portrait and landscape
formats.
