These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance w ith the instructions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. However, there is no gu arantee that interference will not occur in a
particular inst allation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by tu rning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged
to try t o correct the interferen ce by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet th at is on a different circuit than the receiver.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

This unit requires an AC adapte r to operate. Only use UL Listed I.T.E. adapters with an output rating
of 19 VDC, with a minimum current of 3.42 (65W). The correct output rating is indicated on the
AC adapter label. Refer to the illustration below fo r the correct AC Adapter output polarity:
When using your notebook equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:
• Do not use this product near water for example, near a batht ub, washbowl, kitchen
sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
• Use only the power cord and batteries indicated in this manual. Do not dispose of batteries in a
fire. They may explode. Check with local codes for possible special disposal instructions.
