Working with the Tablet PC
To open the Windows Advanced B oot Options menu, first connect an external keyboard to
the device. During the boot process, press the
F8
button quickly in succession.
Alternatively, yo u can start the Fujitsu Recovery Program while the
operating system is running.
Please refer to the "Recovery" manual for more information.
The tablet buttons have di
fferent uses in different modes.
Basic functions when the device has booted

Windows button
This button c orresponds to the function of the Windows Start key of the keyboard. If
this button is presse d together with the ON/OFF switch, the function is equivalent
to that of the key combination

Decrease volume
This button reduces the volume of the built-in loudspea kers.
Increase volume
This button increases the v olume of the built-in loudspeakers.
Lock screen orientation
Windows 7 / Windows 8:
This button is used to lock and unlock the automatic rotation of the display.
When you would like to use the Tablet PC as an eBook, for example, you would
use the portrait orientation.
When accessing spreadsheets, you would more typically use a landscape
orientation.
