Calibrating the pen
You must calibrate your Ta blet PC with the pen before first usage, so that it
recognises the pen as accurately as possible.
You should a lso always repeat the calibration if the co-ordination between the
pen and cursor movement deteriorates.

To calibrate, call up the Hardware and Sound / Tablet PC Settings fu nction
in the Control Panel. You need to calibrate both portrait and lan dscape
formats.
Installing a pen tether (optional)
You should attach the pen with an optionally available pen teth er to prevent
accidentally dropping or losing it.
Your d evice has one eyelet on the right side and one eyelet on the left side for securing the pen
tether (see "
Ports and controls" , Page 9). The eyelet on the right side is illustrated below.
► Fasten the pen cord to the pen eyelet and to the eyelet on the Tablet PC.
