Password protection for boo ting the operating system
With the supervisor password you have set in the BIOS Setu p Utility (see
section "
Assigning the supe r visor and user passwor ds", Page 57), you can
also prevent booting o f the operating system.

Activating system protection
Start the BIOS Setup Utility and go to the Security menu.

Select the Password on Boot option and press the Enter key.
Select the option you require (Disabled, First Boot or Eve r y Boot) and press the enter key
If Disabled is selected, a password is not required, an d you cannot protect
the system (deactivates system protection).
Select the Save Chang
es & Exit option under Exit.
The Tablet PC reboots. You will be prompted to enter your password (the supervisor password).

Select the Disabled option and press the Enter key.
