Connecting e xternal devices
USB port with charging function (USB Type-C)
USBportwithchargingfunction(USBType-C™)
You can also charge a conne cted USB d evice or operate de vices without an
additional power supply at this USB port.
This is also possible with the Tablet PC switched off, if the USB Type-C Power D elivery on System Off
function is activated in the Advanced - Miscellaneous Configurations menu of the BIOS Setup Utility.For

USB devices are ho t-pluggable. This means you c an connect and disconnect the
cables of USB devices while the operating system is running.

► Con nect the data cable to the
external device.
► Con nect the data cable to a USB port
(USB Type-C) on the Tablet PC.
How t o remove USB devices correctly
Always correctly remove the device according to the rules described below,
to ensure that none of your data is lost.
► Tap the symbol for safe removal of the hardware.
► Select the device y ou wish to shut down and remove.
► Tap OK.
Wait for the dialog box which tells you that it is now safe to remove the device.
