Connecting external devices
Connecting external devices
Under all circumstances, please obse rve the safety notes provided in the
"
Important notes", Page 13 chapter before connecting or disconnecting
any devices to or from your Tablet PC .
Always read the documentation supp lied with the device you wish to connect.
Never connect or disconnect cables during a thunderstorm.
Never pull at a cable when disconnecting it. Always grasp the plug.
With some devices, such as USB devices, it is not necessary to switch off
the Table t PC and the device before co nnecting/disconnecting. For m ore
information about whether or not devices need to be switched off, please r efer
to the documentation supplied w ith your external device.
Some of the external devices re quire special drivers (see the operating
system and external device docume ntation).

The HDMI port of the docking crad le can be used to connect an external amplifier,
LCD TV or a p lasma TV with an HDMI connection.
