Connecting external d evices
Connecting USB devices
USBports
Your Tablet PC has a micro USB port. Using the USB cable supplied, you can connect your Tablet
PC t o a notebook or desktop PC for data communication. With a commercially available USB-OTG
adapter, you can c onnect input devices such as a keyboard and mouse as well as m ass memories
such as Flash memory sticks. Check the manual to see if your device is supported.
USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconnect the
cables of U SB devices while the operating system is running.
USB 2.0 has a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps.

USB devices will be automatically recognized and installed by your operating system.
How to remove U
SB devices correctly
Always correctly remove the device according to the rules described below,
to ensure that none of your data is lost.
► Tap the sym
bol for safe removal of the hardware.
► Select the device you wish to shut down and remove.
► Tap OK.
Wait for the dialog box which te lls you that it is now safe to remove the device.
