Using the power-management features

The Tablet PC uses less power when the power management features are enabled. You will
then be able to w ork longer when using the battery before having to recharge it.
Power efficiency is increased an d environmental pollution reduced. By
choosing the best power options, you can make significant savings and
at the same tim e help protect the environment.
We recommen d the following settings: Set your Tablet PC so tha t after 1 minute
without any activity it goes i nto sleep mode.
► Select Settings – Displ ay and set the desired value for Hib ern ate .
When the Tablet PC is in
power saving mode, you must remember the f ollowing:
opened data will be i
n m ain memory during power-saving mode.
Never switch off the
Tablet PC while it is in a power saving mode. If the built-in batt ery is
nearly flat, close th
e open files and do not go into power sa ving mode.
If yo u do no t intend
to use your Tablet PC for a long period of time:
► w hen necessary, leave power-saving mode by switching on y our Tablet PC.
► C lose all opened programs and completely shut down the Tablet PC.
