Connecting external devices
Under all circumstances, please observe the safety no tes provided in the
"
Important notes", Page 11 chapter before connecting or disconnecting
any devices to or from your Tablet PC.
Always read the documentation supplied with the device you w ish to connect.
Never connect or disconnect cables during a thunderstorm.
Never pull at a cable when disconnecting it. Always grasp the plug.
Adhere to the order described below when you connect ext ernal devices
to the Tablet P C or separate them from it:
With some devices, such as USB devices, it is not necessary to switch off
the Tablet PC and the device before connecting/disconnecting. F or more
information about whether or not devices need to be sw itched off, please refer
to the docum entation supplied with the external device.
Connecting USB devices

Your Tablet PC has a micro USB port. Using the USB cable s upplied, you can connect y our Tablet
PC to a notebo ok or desktop PC for data exchange. With a commercially available USB-OTG
adapter, you can connect input devices such as a keyboard and mouse as well as mass memories
such as F lash memory sticks. Ch eck the manual to see if your device is s upported by Android.
USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconnect
devices while y our operating system is running.
USB 2.0 has a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbit/s.
