Cause Troubleshooting
Monitor is switched off. ► Switch the external monitor on.
Power saving has been activated (monitor is
blank).
► Press a key (external keyboard) or tap on
the touchscreen.
Brightness is set to dark.
► Adjust the brightness of the
monitor.
The external monitor’s po
wer cable or data
cable is not connected pr
operly.
► Switch off the Tablet PC and t he external
monitor.
► Check whether the power cable is plugged
properly into the external monitor and into
the power socket.
► Check whether the data cable is properly
connected to the Tablet PC and the external
monitor (if it is plugge d in with a connector).
► Switch on the Tablet PC and the external
monitor.
The Tablet PC does not start after switch on

The power adapter is not co nnected correctly.
► Check whether th
e mains adapter is

► Switch on the Tablet PC.

The Tablet PC is in energy saving mode.
► Leave the energy saving mode: Press the
ON/OFF switch.
An application programme ha s caused the
malfunction.
► Close the application program or restart
the Tablet PC (by restarting the operating
system or switching the device off and back
on again).
The battery is dead.
► Charge th
e battery.

► Connect the mains adapter to the Tablet
PC.
