Using the power-management features

The Ta blet P C uses less pow er when the power management features are enabled. You will
then be able to work longer when using the battery before having to recharge it.
Power efficiency is increased and environmental pollution reduced. By
choosing the best power options, you can m ake significant savings and
at the same time help protect the en viron ment.
We rec ommend the following settings: Set your Tablet PC so that after 1 minute
without any activity it goes into sleep mode.
► Select Settings > Display and set the desired value for Sleep.
When the Tablet PC is in
power saving mo de, you must rem ember the following :

Never switch off the
Tablet PC while it is in a power saving mode. If the built-in battery is
nearly fl at, close th
e open files and do not go into power saving mode.
If you do not intend
to use yo ur Tablet PC for a long period of time:
► when necessary, leave pow er-saving mode by switching on your Tablet PC.
► Close all opened programs and completely shut down the Tablet PC.
