Basic unit
System unit including:
* 1U Housing
* 1 power supply (Standard Ps with 300W or hot plug PSU with 450W)
* Fans
- Fans for Power Supply and Chassis
4x non hot-plug fans in standard PSU base unit, 5 fans with 1 of 5 redundancy in hotplug PSU base unit
* Drives / Bays
- 2 bays 3.5" for hot-plug HDDs or
- 4 bays 2.5" for hot-plug HDDs
- 1 bay 0.5" height for optional SATA ODD
- 1 bay 0,5" height for optional CSS-modul ( Customer Self Service ) or Front VGA / front Service LAN
Options:
* One 0,5" bay can be configured with an optional CSS ( Customer Self Service ) modul or
For indication of a failed component via LED`s
Simultaneously components are marked which can be replaced by the customer.
This LEDs can be dispalyed during service even without mains connection.

Systemboard with:
- Mono Processor Board with LGA1155 socket and Intel® C202 (codenamed Bromolow Cougar Point Essential) (s. section II)
- 1x PCIe Gen3 x16 / 1x PCIe Gen2 x4 (x1 wired) + 1x PCIe x8 (x4 wired) Gen2 Slot for modular RAID
- 4 memory slots (s. section III)
- SATA RAID on-board or SAS RAID controller in the dedicated slot (s. section IX)
- 2x 1 Gbit Ethernet LAN Intel 82579 (Lewisville) + 82574 (Hartwell) on-board with ToE
and iSCSI boot integrated in System BIOS as selectable option
- iRMC S3 (integrated Remote Management Controller) on-board server management controller with
dedicated 10/100/1000 Mbit Service LAN-port and integrated graphics controller
The Service LAN-port can be switched alternatively on standard Gbit LAN port 1 (shared mode)
- Graphics Controller integrated in iRMC S3 (integrated Remote Management Controller):
1600x1200x16bpp 60Hz, 1280x1024x16bpp 60Hz, 1024x768x32bpp 75Hz, 800x600x32bpp 85Hz,
640x480x32bpp 85Hz
(1280x1024x24bpp 60Hz only possible if local monitor or remote video redirection is off)
Interfaces:
- 1x RS-232-C (serial, 9 pins) (usable for BMC or OS or shared)
- 1x VGA (15 pins), 1x Front VGA optional
- 7x USB 2.0 ( UHCI ) with 480MBit/s ( 2x front, 4x back, 1x internal)
- 2x LAN RJ45 (1x shared), 1x Service-LAN RJ45, 1 Service LAN (front) optional

- ServerView Suite Software package incl. ServerStart, ServerBooks, Management Software and Updates

Note: Rack Mounting kit and Power Cord for PRIMERGY RX100 S7p is not included in the basic unit and
has to be configured separately
