PRIMERGY BX server blades represent the workhorses within the PRIMERGY BX600 blade server system. Server blades may
also optionally be equipped with local hard disk drives and additional mezzanine cards as prerequisites for enhanced external
connectivity. Based on those capabilities the PRIMERGY server blades enable customers to run various types of applications in
either physical or virtualized environments. With their modular design for different requirements, the customer can create specific
configurations to meet different usage scenarios.
The PRIMERGY BX620 S4 delivers optimal performance for enterprise environments with optimal memory and processor
performance. This high-density server blade features low-voltage processors for better energy management. Up to ten dual socket
server blades equipped with one to two Dual-Core CPUs of the Intel® Xeon® processor 5200 series with 6 MB shared second
level cache or up to two Quad-Core CPUs of the Intel® Xeon® processor 5400 series with 2x 6 MB shared second level cache
these server blades are designed for an optimal performance/watt ratio.
