LANGUAGES
Windows Server 2012 Datacenter, Standard, Foundation, and Windows Storage
Server Standard products are multilingual and include the following languages:
English (default), German, French, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. Arab, Bok-
mal, Brazilian Portuguese, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian,
Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portu-
guese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian Latin, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Thai,
Turkish, and Ukrainian language packs are available from Fujitsu
on an optional,
separate Fujitsu branded
Windows Server 2012 Language Pack Supplement DVD
for Windows Server 2012 OEM and ROK. This Supplement DVD lets end users add
their choice of additional languages to their installation, shipping and handling
costs apply.
HYPER-V
Windows Server 2012 Datacenter and Standard contain Hyper-V. The Hyper-V
role enables you to create and manage a virtualized computing environment by
using virtualization technology that is built in to Windows Server 2012. Hyper-V
is supported on all PRIMERGY servers.
Supported guest operating systems
- Supported server guest operating systems are Windows Server 2012,
Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1 Datacenter, Enterprise, Standard
and Web editions, Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter, Enterprise,
Standard and Web editions, Windows Server 2008 (32-bit and 64-bit)
with SP2 Datacenter, Enterprise, Standard and Web editions, Windows
Server 2008 (32-bit and 64-bit) Datacenter, Enterprise, Standard and
Web editions, Windows Home Server 2011, Windows Small Business
Server 2011 Essentials and Standard editions,
Windows Server 2003 R2
with SP2 (32-bit and 64-bit) Standard, Web, Enterprise and Datacenter
editions, Windows Server 2003 with SP2 (32-bit and 64-bit) Standard,
Web, Enterprise and Datacenter editions, CentOS 6.0 – 6.2, Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 6.0 – 6.2, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2 .
- Supported client guest operating systems are Windows 8, Windows 7
with SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit) Ultimate and Enterprise editions, Win-
dows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) Ultimate and Enterprise editions, Windows
Vista with SP2 Business, Enterprise and Ultimate editions, Windows XP
with SP3 Professional, Windows XPx64 Edition with SP2 Professional.
Install the integration services after you set up the operating system in the
virtual machine. The entire list of supported guest

Guest operating systems must be correctly licensed.
In addition, SR-IOV (Single Root Input Output Virtualization) is supported on
PRIMERGY BX920 S3, BX924 S3,
RX200 S7, RX300 S7, RX350 S7, TX150 S8, TX200
S7, TX300 S7 for direct I/O throughput, reduced CPU utilization, increased scala-
bility, and improved device performance for virtual guests. Not yet supported for
PRIMERGY RX500 S7, RX600 S6, RX900 S2.
EDITION-SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS
System Restrictions Windows Server 2012 Foundation Maximum 1CPU and 32GB RAM for systems with Windows Server 2012 Founda-
tion. PRIMERGY RX100 S7, RX100 S7p are not released for this edition.
System Restrictions Windows Storage Server 2012 Standard Systems with Windows Storage Server 2012 are designed and distributed for use
without a monitor, keyboard or mouse (for certain maintenance or repairs, End
User may connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse).
System must not be used as a substitute for a general purpose computing device.
Must not be used as a domain controller – this function is not supported.
Must not be used to run as enterprise resource planning software, messaging or
enterprise mail, web-based time management applications that address appoint-
ments, meetings and other calendaring items, Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft
SharePoint Portal Server, team collaboration software, or Enterprise database
software (such as Microsoft SQL Server). The Customer System may, however, be
