The minimum system hardware requirements are defined by Microsoft. All Fujit-
su PRIMERGY server systems, server blades and nodes, which are or will be certi-
fied (“logo’d"), fulfill these requirements.

Components Restrictions Storage Spaces technology is not supported to operate on top of a Hardware- or
Software RAID configuration. NVIDIA® NVS 290 and 300 graphics PCIe adapter
are not yet supported. NVIDIA® Tesla Computing Processor PCIe adapter is not
yet supported. CNA Mezzanine Card 2ch 10G CNA 102E is not yet supported.
QLogic Fibre Channel components are not yet supported. Mellanox Infiniband
cards are not yet supported. LTO4 (F3626) is not yet supported. DAT72 USB
(H961), DAT72 Gen5 USB2 (H950), DAT160 USB2 (F3325), and DAT160 Gen6
USB2 (H1023) are not yet supported. Intel 10GB XF SR NIC is not supported.
There will be no support for BX600 1Gb Ethernet I/O Module (PCIe) with Broad-
com LAN controller 5708S.
System Requirements Fujitsu PRIMERGY Server
Processor. ECC Memory. RAM. Drive. DVD-ROM. Disk. Redundant array of indepen-
dent disks (RAID) is supported but not required. The system volume must be MBR.
Additional volumes can be MBR or GPT. Keyboard. Video. Mouse. Logo require-
ments are the same for all editions of Windows Server 2012.
Windows Storage Server 2012 Sta
ndard does not require keyboard, video, mouse
and is always delivered without.
ETERNUS and PRIMERGY JBOD External Enclosures

SERVERVIEW SUPPORT
Fujitsu ServerView Suite ServerView Installation Manager as of version 11.12.10.07 or higher
for Windows
Server 2012 and Windows Storage Server 2012. ServerView Installation Manager
as of version 11.12.11.00 or higher for free Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2012. Ser-
verView Operations/Update Manager as of version 6.00.07, manages Windows
Server 2012, installation on Windows Server 2012 not supported. ServerView
RAID Manager as of version 5.5.9. ServerView Agents as of version 6.10.02.
ServerView Update Agent as of version 6.00.06. PRIMERGY support package tool
PrimeUp as of version 1.17.01. ServerView Deployment Manager as of version
6.20.03.
EPM
Enhanced Power Management The Enhanced Power Management feature identifies servers which support the
next generation power management technology available with Windows Server
2012. Thease features will provide cost-savings associated with reducing power
consumption on each server. EPM is supported on Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX920 S3,
BX924 S3, RX100 S7p, RX200 S7, RX300 S7, RX350 S7, RX500 S7, TX200 S7,
