If a fault o ccurs, try to correct it as described. If you fail to correct the problem, proceed as follows:
Make a note of the steps and the circumstances that led to the fault. Also
make a note of any error messages displayed.
Switch the notebook off.

Before you place the call, have the following information ready so that the customer
support representative can p rovide you with the fastest possible solution:
The model name and serial number of the notebook. The serial number i s
located on a sticker on the underside of the notebook.
Notes with the mess
ages that appeared on th e screen and
informationonaco
ustic s ignals.
Any changes you have m ade to the ha rdwa re or so ftware since
receiving th e notebook.
Any changes you h
ave made to the BIOS Setup settings after receiving the notebook.
Your system conguration and all peripheral devices connected to your system.

Our noteboo ks have been designed primarily with mobile a pplications in mind.
This means that considerable effort has been made to optimize components and
equipment in terms of weight, space and energy requirements. Depending on the
particular congura tion you have purchased, it is possible that functionality may be
slightly reduced compared to a deskto p PC if you are running processor-intensive
gaming software, e.g. games with intensive 3D graphics. Updating your hardware with
drivers which have not been approved by Fujitsu may result in performance losses,

Help if problems occur
Should y ou encounter a problem with your computer that you cannot reso lve yourself:
Note the I D number of your device. The ID number is found on the type rating
plate on the back or underside of the casing.
For further clarication of the problem, contact the Fujitsu Service Desk. When you do
this, please have ready the I D number and serial number of your system.
