Working with the notebook
SIM card
A SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a chip card which is inserted in a mobile phone or
notebook and, together with an integrated UMTS/LTE module, enables access to a mobile network.
When handling SIM cards, follow the instructions supplied by the provider.
Inserting the SIM card
► Rem ov e the battery, see "Removing the ba ttery", Page 45.

► Pull the SIM card holder out of the slot (1).
► Insert the SIM card (2) into the SIM
card holder as shown in the diagra m
on the SIM card holder.
► Push the SIM card holder back
into the slot (3).
