Working with the noteb ook
Using the device as a Tablet PC
You c an execute co mmands as fo llows:
• using the stylus pen (supplied with y our device).
• using your fingers
Using fingers
You can execute certain
commands by using your finger tip on the touchscreen of your device.
Everything which you ca
n select or activate using your finger tip can
also be selected or act
ivated using the pen.
Calibrate the Dual Digitizer for finger-based operation of the device
For instructions on how to calibrate your device to use D ual Digitizer Technology,
please refer to chapter "
Calibrat ing the pen", Page 32.
Please note: There are separate calibration programs available for calibrating the
stylus pen and for calibrating fin ger-based operation. Do not use the calibration
tool for the stylus pe n to calibrate finger-based operation.
Using the stylus pen

You can use the pen on your note book as an electronic writing implement to select
items and to navigate through menu options and programs. Programs that support
handwriting recognition also a llow you to write characters directly on the screen with
the pen. You can also use the pen as a drawing tool.
