It also allows users to securely store private keys and certificates for file
and folder encryption, Web, email, digital signatures, and passwords.
The dedicated Smart Card slot supports a wide range of third-party
applications, and access to personal data. Smart cards improve the
convenience and security of any of your transactions. They provide
tamper-proof storage of your identity. Smart Cards protect against a full
range of security threats, from careless storage of your passwords to
sophisticated attempts to hack into your computer.
With more than 800,000 possible passwords, the integrated Security
Panel system adds another measure of security to help protect your
data. The LIFEBOOK E752 notebook also features two-level hard drive
and BIOS password protection, allowing system administrators to have
a password that’s secret from users, and can be used to unlock their
notebook if the user password is lost. To help protect your privacy , the
Webcam has a LED indicator which lets you know if it is on or off.
Computrace persistence technology provides you with embedded
technology that protects your computer. If efforts are made to remove
Computrace from your notebook, the technology simply rebuilds itself
so you can continue to track, manage, and protect your computer. No
other technology can do this.
Connectivity
With the Gigabit Ethernet LAN, you can easily connect to your office
network or Web. For wireless connectivity, the Intel® Centrino®
Wireless-N 2200 802.11 b/g/n or Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205
(802.11 a/b/g/n), offers seamless and flexible connectivity. If you use a
Bluetooth-enabled cellular phone or PDA, your LIFEBOOK E752 notebook
can be equipped with integrated Bluetooth wireless technology (V4.0)
for data synchronization and swapping images or data.
