Before Using the Terminal

◆ Status indication lamp
Status indication lamp indicates the following status of Xi/FOMA dual terminal by
lighting/blinking and blinking patterns.
UIM is an IC card that stores personal information such as your phone number.
･ Insert/Remove a UIM with both hands.
･ If UIM is not inserted correctly or UIM has abnormalities, data communication is
not available.
･ For details on handling UIM, refer to manual of UIM.
◆ Installing/Removing
･ Be careful not to touch or scratch the IC.
