Introduction
Usage styles
You can use functions by key operation and touch operation on the
FOMA terminal.
Closed style
You can check missed calls,
unread mail, Pedometer/ACT
monitor, i-Channel information
with the sub-display. Press the
side key when nothing is
displayed, the clock appears.
Normal style
This style supports key operation
and touch operation.

To talk over the videophone call seeing
each other's image, rotate the display in
180-degree to face the camera to
yourself.
Flip style
The display is turned outward. This style supports touch operation.
Point
Be careful not to close the terminal on your finger for switching to flip
style.
Do not rotate the display clockwise more than 180-degree, or
counterclockwise more than 90-degree.
Do not let the corner of the display hit to the terminal body (keypad face)
when rotating or closing the display.
Do not close the FOMA terminal or switching to flip style with clipping the
strap. Doing so may cause malfunction or damage.
For opening, closing or rotating the FOMA terminal, do not touch the
touch panel with your fingers to avoid erroneous operation.
In flip style, do not place the terminal with the face of display downward
on a desk etc. The surface of the display may be scratched.
For carrying the FOMA terminal, activate Side key hold to avoid erroneous
operation when it closed or activate Display off lock setting to avoid
erroneous operation of the touch panel or to save battery consumption in
flip style.
