Installing the hard disk
► Remove the new hard disk from the package.

► Pull the support rail (1) of the bracket
somewhat toward the outside.
► Place the hard disk into the hard disk
carrier in the direction of the arrow (2).
Make sure that the bracket pins engage in the
holes of the hard disk.

► Place the new hard disk in the casing at a
slight angle in the direction of the
arrow (1).
► Press the hard disk downward in the
direction of the arrow (2) until it rests on
the casing bottom.
Make sure that the rear edge of the hard disk is
flush with the marking on the casing bottom.
► Plug the data and the power supply
connectors into the hard disk.
!
Even if your serial-ATA hard disk has two power supply connectors you may use only one.
Otherwise damages may result.
