Switch the device on
► If necessary, switch the monitor on (see the operating manual for the monitor).

► Switch on the device using t
he main power switch located on the rear of th e device (if present).
► Press the ON/OFF switch on the front of the device.

The power-on indicator
lights green and the device is s tarted.
Switching off the device
► Shut down the operating system in a define d manner. In Windows: via the
Start menu and the Turn Off Computer function.

stem does not automatically switch the device into energy-saving mode or
switch it off, pres
s the O N/O FF switch. Warning, this could lead to a loss of data!

If the device is switched off, it consumes a minimum of ene rgy.
► Switch the device
offatthemainswitch(ifpresent).

The device no longer uses any power.
The main switch and the ON/OF F switch do not discon nect the device
from the mains voltage. To completely disconnect from the mains voltage,
remove th e power plu g from the power socket.
► If necessary, switch the monitor off (see the ope rating manual for the monitor).

The indicators are on the front of the casing. Which indicators are available on your
device depends on the configuration level you have selected.
