When using on a Windows Vista, Windows XP, 2000, or Me PC
Disconnect from the PC
1. Left-click the icon displayed in the task tray.
Left-click the [
] in case of Windows Vista.
Left-click the [ ] in case of Windows XP/ 2000/ Me.
2. Left-click the menu which is displayed as below. *
In case of Windows Vista: [Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device - Drive(F:)]
In case of Windows XP: [Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device - Drive(F:)]
In case of Windows 2000: [Stop USB Mass Storage Device - Drive(F:)]
In case of Windows Me: [Stop USB Disk - Drive(F:)]
The display may be different depending on the PC you are using.

If you share the Trash and there are any remaining files, you may not be able to remove the device.
Empty the Trash and remove again.
3. Left-click the close button [ ] at the top right corner in case of Windows Vista and Windows XP
and [OK] in case of Windows 2000/Me when the message below is displayed.
