Notes on p ow er management
If your computer is equipped with po wer management (power-saving mode), the mon itor can fully
support this function. Here the monitor does not distinguish between the individual energy-saving
modes of the computer (standby mode, suspend mode and OFF mode), as it is capable of
immediately switching into the mode with the highest energy-saving effect.

If your computer det
ects inactivity (no input) it sends an appropriate signal to the monitor to
reduce the power con
sumption (ene rgy-saving mode). The power indica tor of the monitor changes
colour to indicate
the status change. ECO mode is the preset factory default.
Once an input is mad
e at the computer the screen contents are restored.

Changing the monitor settings
When putting the monitor into operation for the rst time, the screen display should
be optimally adapted to the display adapter used.
