Getting started
Connecting the device
Please o bse rve the safety information in "Important notes", Page 7.
CE conformance and optimum picture quality are guaranteed only if
you use the data cables supplied.
Switch off the monitor and the computer.
Disconnect the power plug
from the computer.
Connecting cables to the monitor
The supplied data cable
s have two 1 5-pin D-SUB connectors or two 24-pin DVI
connectors and a 20-pin
DisplayPort connector (not included in delivery scope) f or
connection to the monit
or and to the computer.
Information on the co
mputer connections and interfaces is contained in the
operating manual fo
r the computer.
A lock (Kensington L
ock) can be mounted in the security slot to protect the monitor
against theft. A Ke
nsington lock is not supplied with the monitor.
