TIMER FUNCTIONS OFF timer (See page 5.) Use this timer function to stop air conditioner operation. The timer operates and air conditioner operation stops after the set time has passed. OPERATING DETAILS Instructions relating to heating (*) are applicable only to “HEAT & COOL MODEL” (Reverse Cycle). Operation and Performance * Heating Performance ● This air conditioner uses a heat pump which absorbs heat from outside air and brings it indoors. As a result, its heating performance is reduced as the temperature of outside air drops. If you find that insufficient room heat is produced, we recommend that you use the air conditioner together with other heating appliances.
ERRORS AND SELF DIAGNOSIS SELF-DIAGNOSIS (1) Stop the air conditioner operation. (2) Press the SET TEMP. buttons and at the same time for more than 5 seconds to start the self-diagnosis. * For information on the error codes, refer to the installation manualfor the indoor unit. (3) Press the SET TEMP. buttons and at the same time to stop the self-diagnosis.
TROUBLESHOOTING Instructions relating to heating (*) are applicable only to “HEAT & COOL MODEL” (Reverse Cycle). In the event of a malfunction (burning smell, etc.), immediately stop operation, turn off the electrical breaker, and consult authorized service personnel. Merely turning off the unit’s power switch will not completely disconnect the unit from the power source. Always be sure to turn off the electrical breaker to ensure that power is completely off.
