Connecting the d evice
Please observe the safety information in "Important notes", Page 3.
CE conformance and optimum picture quality are guaranteed only if
you use the data cables supplied.
► Switch off the monitor and the computer.
► Disconnect the power plug from the computer.
Connecting cables to the mon
itor
The data cable supplied has two 15-pin D-SUB connectors for connection
to the monitor and to the computer.
Information on the computer connections and interfaces can be found in the
operating manual for the computer.

► Select the d ata cable that is appropriate for your computer.
► Connect one of the data cable connectors to the D-SUB connector on the monitor and
secure the plug-in connection by tightening the safety screws.
► Insert one plug on the audio cable into the AUDIO IN socket on the monitor,
making sure it is prop erly engaged.
► Plug the supplied power cable into the po wer connector on t he monitor.
A lock (Kensington Lock) can be fitted in the security slot to protect the monitor
against theft. A Kensington Lock is not included w ith the monitor at delivery.
