Connecting set-top box to S-VIDEO IN / VIDEO IN on the rear of the SCALEO E

► Connect the external device to the SCALEO E via the S-VIDEO (1) or the

VIDEO connection (2).

► Connect the analogue audio outputs of the external device with the AUDIO IN

connections of your SCALEO E (3).

Note: While you are recording a programme, you cannot also watch TV.

SCALEO with two TV cards

You must connect two identical set-top boxes to a SCALEO E with two TV cards

(identical unit, identical configuration). Microsoft

Windows XP Media Center Edition

handles both TV cards and the devices connected to them identically and does not

distinguish between the upper and lower card.

Note: For the settings for the set-top box in Media Center mode, both the upper and

the lower TV card are configured for video inputs S-Video 1 and Composite Video 1.
