► Connect the SCART AUX connection of the SCALEO E (1) and the SCART
connection of the DVD player/video recorder (2) with a SCART cable.
► To view recordings from the video recorder/DVD recorder, switch the
SCALEO E to Hibernate mode or off.
Images and sound are transmitted from the SCART AUX connection to the SCART
TV connection and output on the TV.
Connecting external devices for playback and for digital recording (not in
Media Center mode)
Note: The SCART AUX connection and the front connections for S-Video and
Video-In are not supported in Media Center mode. You may use the connections
with the Microsoft
®
Windows XP operating system and with additional programs.
Some additional programs are already preinstalled on your SCALEO E.
For example, you can digitise and record video cassettes using the Windows XP
operating system and with additional programs.
The image and sound signals are relayed from the SCART AUX, S-VIDEO
IN/VIDEO IN connection (front) to the SCART TV connection and displayed on the
TV.
Using the S-VIDEO IN (front), VIDEO IN (front) and SCART AUX connections, you
can record from video recorders, DVD players or video cameras.
