The Microsoft Windows XP operating system is already installed and optimally configured on the
AMILO Mini. The device is ready for immediate use when you first switch it on, it boots up very
quickly and offers a particularly long operating time because of its high capacity bat tery.
With the user-friendly "BIOS Setup Utility" y ou can control your notebook’s hardware and better
protect your system against unauthorised access by using the powerful password properties.
For information on the connections and controls of your noteb ook, please
refer to the enclosed manual "First-time setup".

You will find the Windows XP drivers for your device on our Internet website. The factory
installation of your device does not support any other operating system. Fujitsu Siemens
Computers does not accep t any liability whatsoever if a ny other operating system is used.
Software oriented components of these instructions refer to Microsoft products,
if they come within the scop e of the delivery.
If you install other software products, pay attention to the operating
