Working with the notebook
Using W LAN access
• Requirement: You have a WLAN and the corresponding access data.
► Select Start - Settings - Network connections.

The Network connections window opens.
► In the window, d ouble-click on the entry Wirel ess Network Connection.

The Wireless Network Connection window opens.
► Under Select Wireless Network, select the desired WLAN and confirm with Connect.
► If requ ired, enter the corresponding access data (e.g. network key, password).

The connection to the WLAN is established.
Access via UMTS
You can purchase the acce ssories for UMTS recep tion from your retailer
or your Fujitsu S iemens Computer dealer.
You w ill find information on establishing the connection with the UMTS
network in the documentation for the hardw are used.
Your AMILO Mini can connect with t
he Internet via UMTS. To do this, use
one of the following types of conn
ection:
• USB dongle
a USB stick with your mobile phone provider’s SIM card
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile
phone) with Bluetooth connection
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phone) with data cable
• 34 mm ExpressCard with U MT S functi
