Removing the ExpressCard
Always remove the card according to the rules described below, to
ensure that none of your data is lost.
ExpressCard
You can stop the ExpressCard using the corresponding symbo l in the ta sk bar:
► Left-click on the icon.
► Select the ExpressCard you want
to stop and remove.
► Press the Ente r key.

Wait for the dialogue box which te
lls you that it is now safe to remove the ExpressCard.

► Press on th e edge of the ExpressCard
(1) so that the ExpressCard jumps
out of the slot slightly.
► Pull the ExpressCard ( 2) out of
the slot.

► Insert the placeholder for the ExpressCard
into the slot g uide.
► Gently slide the placeho
lder for the
ExpressCard into the slo
tuntilyou
feel it click into place
