Item Specification
Alarm/ control The RU reports an alarm when the following status changes occur on the RU.
Note: In case of the RU HW failure, the RU provides alarm to the EM S.
Operational:
▪ TX Power status change
▪ Cold start
▪ Fronthaul Port Status Change
▪ Node Shutdown
▪ Channel Frequency Change
▪ RU Parameter Change
Environmental:
▪ Node Voltage out-of-range condition
▪ Node Temperature out-of-range condition
▪ The RU generates high-temperature, low-temperature, and shutdown temperature alarms, which report
to the EM S.
Synchronization:
▪ Sync status changes (fail, not locked, or out-of-sync, disabled)
▪ Node Synchronization Lock Status Changed
▪ Node Internal Clock Status Change
▪ Node PTP M aster/ Slave Status Change
Access:
▪ RU Local Access Attempt

Synchronization The RU supports the following standards:
▪ Telecom Slave Clock (T-TSC) to" G8275.1", "G8275.2" and Assisted Partial Timing Support. RU provides
additional noise filtering to filter front-haul interface dynamic noise, which helps to meet 3GPP frequency
accuracy requirement
▪ Additional noise filtering to filter front-haul interface dynamic noise, which helps to meet 3GPP frequency
accuracy requirement
▪ M aintains sync holdover with SyncE, in case of GPS or IEEE 1588 loss for 24 hours
▪ G.8275.1 synchronization
▪ IEEE 1914.1, ITU-T G.826x, G.827x series
▪ Able connect to a DU on site located remotely in a data center as far as 200 microseconds away
Internet Protocol ▪ Supports IPv4 and IPv6
