End Surface Cleaning In LC Connector
Prerequisite:
■ Clean the ferrule end surface wit h the provided st ick type cleaner.
Step 1
Remove the connector prot ection cap.
Step 2
Insert the point of the cleaner straight int o the ferrule side of the connector. It is not necessary to come in
cont act wit h the connector edges.
Step 3
Circle the ferrule seven times wit h the cleaner.
Step 4
Remove the cleaner and prompt ly connect the cable or install the prot ection cap.
✓ This task is complete.
Additional Instructions:
Caution: Do not touch surface after cleaning. Scars form easily on the connector's surface.
Caution: Do not use a cleaner except to clean the ferrule.
