LC Connector End Surface Cleaning
Prerequisite:
■ Clean the ferrule end surface wit h the provided reel type cleaner.
Step 1
Remove the connector's protection cap.
Step 2
Hold the connector to the cleaner and move it wit h the arrow on the cleaning side of the cleaner. The connector
moves vert ically.
Caution: Do not rotate the connector while cleaning.

Step 3
The connector rubs the ferrules on the cleaner.
Step 4
Rub the connector for 1-2 seconds t o prevent wrinkles.
Step 5
Do not use the same area on the cleaner a second time. If more cleaning is needed, use a different area on the
cleaner or a new cleaner.
