Commissioning
In this section:
6.1.1 Apply Power to RU
6.1.2 Complet e RU Installation
6.1.3 Radio Commissioning
Prior to commissioning the RU, the following crit eria must be complet ed:
■ Circuit breaker is off prior to connecting the RU
■ All cables at RU connected and terminat ed
■ Optical SFP installed
■ Ant enna connection is complete
Important: The RU does not have a power switch. DC pow er on/ off is cont rolled by the circuit
breaker of the DC pow er source. The circuit breaker must be off when connecting the RU.
Note: The RU requires approximat ely 10 seconds to fully power up.
Commissioning an RU has the follow ing environmental requirement s:
■ Keep the temperature and humidit y wit hin the specified conditions.
■ Do not place around objects t hat obstruct the flow of air.
■ Do not input optical signals higher than the maximum received light level to the optical interface. The opt ical
received may be damaged.
■ Do not submerge or bury in snow

Apply Power to RU
This procedure describes how to power up the RU.
Prerequisites:
■ Torx driver
■ RU mounted and not powered up
■ Available –48V power cable
