Using TV links
With some data broadcasts, link information to a related site (TV link) is
sometimes displayed. Registering TV links lets you connect to related
sites later on.
Registering a TV link

Select an item that can be registered as a TV link in
the data broadcast area

Procedures for registering TV links differ depending on the
program.
Displaying a registered TV link

Recording 1Seg
You can record video, audio, subtitles, and data broadcasts you are
watching, and save them on a microSD card preformatted in T-01C
format.

In the following instances, recording either stops or cannot be
started.
・
When there is 2 MB or less free space on the microSD card
・
When there is 10% or less battery power remaining
・
When six hours has elapsed since start of recording
●
Recorded TV programs are saved as data set with copyright
protection. They cannot be sent as e-mail attachments.
●
Recorded TV programs having an extremely short (ten seconds or
less) recording time cannot be played back.
●
Record TV programs in stable reception locations. TV programs
sometimes cannot be recorded if reception is unstable.
●
The channel cannot be switched during recording.
●
During recording, TV programs sometimes cannot be recorded
normally if other applications are activated.
●
During recording, the camera and video recording cannot be
activated.
●
If a communications service is activated during recording, 1Seg
reception might get worse or normal recording might no longer be
possible.
●
Recording sometimes fails if the microSD card is not mounted or a
USB connection is made to mount the microSD card on the PC
during recording.
●
Recording sometimes ends midway if the TV program currently
being recorded is a paid broadcast or copying is controlled, or if
your FOMA
terminal has moved to a different broadcast area.

If playback ended midway in the previous session, playback will
resume from where it left off.

The following operations are possible by tapping the screen during
playback:
: Tap to go back by about five seconds. Tapping continuously
plays the TV program back continuously
: Tap to go forward by about 15 seconds. Tapping continuously
advances the TV program continuously

(Smooth Mode)
Sets whether or not to use the function for
smoothing images. Setting this mode to on
increases battery consumption and shortens
the available watching time.
