Settings
Text-to-speech
When a text readback plug-in (TalkBack, etc.) is installed on your FOMA
terminal, you can set the readback speed and language.

The text readback function can be used when the display language of
your FOMA terminal is set to English (P. 71).

Tap "Install voice data"
●
"Install voice data" cannot be selected when voice data is already
installed.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install the
voice data

Set the items
Speech rate Sets the text readback speed.
Language Sets the voice unique to the language used for
reading back text.

To check the settings, tap "Listen to an example" to play back a
sample voice.
●
To enable the application or functions that link the settings to text
readback at all times, select the "Always use my settings"
checkbox.
Date & time
At purchase, there is no need to manually set the date and time since
date, time zone and time provided from the network are automatically
used.

Adjust the year, month and date, and tap "Set"

or "PM" to switch between morning and afternoon.

each application.

information
You can check the open source license and Google
terms
of service.
Model number You can check the model number of your FOMA
terminal.

You can check the software (firmware) version.
