Set the items
Phone ringtone Sets the call ringtone.
Phone vibrate Sets whether or not to notify incoming calls by
vibration.

Sets the notification tone, for example, when the
Eco mode is activated or position measurement is
started when a USB connection is made or USB
storage is set to "Turn Off".

Setting MIC input
You can set the voice input destination when a stereo earphone is
connected to the stereo earphone terminal on your FOMA terminal.

Tap "Phone MIC" or "Earphone MIC"
When a stereo earphone without a MIC is connected, select
"Phone MIC". When a stereo earphone with a MIC is connected
and you want to send your voice to the other party from the
earphone's MIC, select "Earphone MIC".
Note
When a stereo earphone is not connected, your voice is sent from
your FOMA terminal's MIC regardless of the MIC input setting.

Tap "Picture settings" and select an item
None The wallpaper of the home screen is displayed.
Picture The selected image is displayed.
Folder Images in the selected folder are displayed as a
slideshow.
Flickr Enter one or more keyword.
Images matching the keyword are automatically
acquired from the images publicized in Flickr, and
are displayed as a slideshow.
Picasa Enter one or more keyword.
Images matching the keyword are automatically
acquired f
rom the images publicized in Picasa, and

When "Flickr" or "Picasa" is selected, set "Update
interval" and "Network to be used"
When "Specified time" is selected at "Update interval", tap
"Update time" to specify the time.

Changing the screen display

Deselect the "Orientation" checkbox
Note
Some applications, such as 1Seg, camera and video recording, do
not follow the "Orientation" setting. Also, the screen display mode
is fixed to landscape in some applications such as YouTube video
playback, UkiUkiView and mosimo camera.
Setting the screen brightness
You can set the screen brightness and the delay before the backlight
turns off.

Tap "Brightness"
To adjust the brightness to suit the surrounding conditions, select
the "Adjust automatically" checkbox.

Slide the slider to adjust the brightness, and tap
"OK"

Displaying by animation
You can set whether or not to display by animation when displaying
screens or items.

Multimedia
You can set whether or not to automatically correct 1Seg or YouTube
images. You can also set whether or not to use the high-quality sound
function for the media playback sound.

Select or deselect the "REGZA settings" checkbox
When the checkbox is selected, the high image quality engine is
used to automatically correct 1Seg or YouTube images.

Tap "High-quality sound settings" and select an

Noise-reduction When this checkbox is selected, the playback
sound from the speaker or earphones is made
easier to pick up even when the surrounding area
is noisy.
Loudspeaker
Offset
When this checkbox is selected, the quality of
playback sound from the speaker is improved.
Note
The high sound quality setting is not applied to the voice of the
other party in incoming calls.
The noise reduction function is not applied to the playback sound
from Bluetooth headsets.
