Entering text
ATOK keyboard
On this FOMA terminal, you can enter text using the keyboard displayed
on screen. You can switch between the following two types of ATOK
keyboard and use them selectively.

Number keyboard
This is the most popular keyboard used on mobile phones. You can use
four input modes on this keyboard: mobile phone input, gesture input,
gesture input Pro, and flick input.
■
QWERTY keyboard
On this keyboard, Japanese is entered using the English alphabet.

Tap to select the desired input mode

If you tap for one second or more, the ATOK menu will be
displayed, and you can make ATOK settings or register dictionary
terms, and select the English/Japanese input modes.

Enter text
●
Conversion candidates are displayed at the top of the keyboard
each time you enter text. You can display conversion candidates
not on screen by scrolling to the left and right.
●
Tapping deletes the character immediately to the left of the
cursor.
●
To move the cursor, tap / .
●
To return the previously applied text to its pre-conversion state,
tap "
戻す
(Back)".
●
Predictive conversion candidates are not included in the displayed
conversion candidates by tapping "
変換
(Convert)" after entering text.
●
Entered text can be converted to katakana/numbers/alphabet
characters/date (double-byte characters/single-byte characters) by
tapping "
カナ英数
(Kana/alphanumerics)" after entering text.
●
Entered text can be converted to hiragana/double-byte katakana/
single-byte katakana by tapping "
後変換
(Post-convert)" after
tapping "
変換
(Convert)".

To display characters in reverse order, tap .
