theU.S.GovernmentandinformationfromtheE.U.aregivenas

Yourhandsetisaradiotransmitterandreceiver.Itisdesigned
and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for
exposure to radiofrequency (RF) energysetbytheFederal
CommunicationsCommissionoftheU.S.Government.
Theguidelinesarebasedonstandardsthatweredevelopedby
independent scientific organization through periodic and
thorough evaluation of scientific studies. The standards
include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the
safetyofallpersons,regardlessofageandhealth.
Theexposurestandard forwirelesshandsetsemploysaunit
of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or
SAR.TheSARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.Thetestsare
performedinpositionsandlocations(e.g.attheearandworn
onthebody)asrequiredbytheFCCforeachmodel.
ThehighestSARvalueforthismodelhandsetasreportedto
the FCC when tested for use at the ear is 0.57 W/kg, and
whenwornonthebodyinaholderorcarrycase,is0.57W/kg.
Body-wornOperation;Thisdevicewastestedfortypicalbody-
worn operations with the back of the handset kept 1.0 cm
fromthebody.
TomaintaincompliancewithFCCRFexposurerequirements,
useaccessoriesthatmaintaina1.0cmseparationdistance
betweentheuser'sbodyandthebackofthehandset.Theuse
of beltclips, holsters and similar accessories should not
containmetalliccomponentsinitsassembly.
