Each row showsan AP's SSID, itsreceived signal strength indication(RSSI), and whetheror not dataencryptionis in use(true or
false). You can sort the list by tapping on the column headers. If the scan finds more than one AP with the same SSID, the list
displaysthe
APwiththestrongestRSSIandtheleastsecurity.Everyfiveseconds,theScanwindowupdatestheRSSIvalueforeach
oftheAPsinthelist.ToscanfornewAPsandviewanupdatedlist,tapRefresh.
IfyouareauthorizedasanadministratorinSCU,youcan
createaprofileforanySSIDinthelist.Tocreateaprofile,double‐tapthe
rowfortheSSID;ortaptherowandthentapConfigure

IfyoutapYesonthedialogbox,thenSCUcreatesaprofileforthatSSID,withtheprofilenamebeingthesameastheSSID(orthe
SSIDwithasuffixsuchas"_1"ifaprofilewiththeSSIDasitsnameexistsalready).If
theAPisusingWEP,thenSCUopensadialog
box in which you can specify WEP keys. If the AP is using EAP, then SCU opens a dialog box in which you can specify login
credentialsfortheEAPtype(whichSCUassumesisLEAP).Afteryouenterinformation
onadialogbox,youreturntotheSCUProfile
window,whereyoucanviewandeditprofilesettings.Ifyoumakeanychanges,thenyoumusttapCommittosavethechanges.
