Code Page

Code pages define the mapping of character codes to characters. If the data received does not display with the proper

characters,itmaybebecausethebarcodebeingscannedwascreatedusingacodepagethatisdifferentfromtheonethe host

program is expecting. If this is the case, select the code page with which the barcodes were created by scanning the

appropriate barcode below. For PDF417, QR Code, Aztec and Data Matrix, besides setting the code page, you also need

tosetthecharacterencodinginthe“CharacterEncoding”sectioninChapter6.ThisfeatureisonlyeffectivewhenEmulate

ALT+Keypad is turnedon.The default setting is Code Page 1252(West European, Latin)
