Reread Timeout
RereadTimeoutcanavoidundesiredrereadingofsamebarcodeinagivenperiodoftime.Thisfeatureisonlyapplicableto the Sense
and Continuousmodes.
Enable Reread Timeout: Do not allow the scanner to reread same barcode before the reread timeout expires.
Disable Reread Timeout: Allow the scanner to reread same barcode.

Disable Reread Timeout
The following parameter sets the timeout between decodes for same barcode. It is programmable in 1ms increments from
1ms to 3,600,000ms. When it is set to a value greater than 3,000, the timeout for rereading same programming barcode is
limited to 3,000ms. The default setting is 1,500ms.
Set Reread Timeout
Set the reread timeout to 1,000ms:
1. Scan the Enter Setupbarcode.
2. Scan the Timeout between Decodes (Same Barcode)barcode.
3. Scan the numeric barcodes “1”, “0”, “0” and “0” from the “Digit Barcodes” section inAppendix.
4. Scan the Save barcode from the “Save/Cancel Barcodes” section inAppendix.
5. Scan the Exit Setupbarcode.
