Set Length Range for MSI-Plessey
ThescannercanbeconfiguredtoonlydecodeMSI-Plesseybarcodeswithlengthsthatfallbetween(inclusive)theminimum and
maximum lengths. To accomplish it, you need to set the minimum and maximumlengths.
Set the Minimum Length (Default: 4)
Set the Maximum Length (Default: 48)
If minimum length is set to be greater than maximum length, the scanner only decodes MSI-Plessey
barcodeswitheithertheminimumormaximumlength.Ifminimumlengthissameasmaximumlength,only MSI-
Plessey barcodes with that length are to bedecoded.
Set the scanner to decode MSI-Plessey barcodes containing between 8 and 12 characters:
1. Scan the Enter Setupbarcode.
2. Scan the Set the Minimum Length barcode.
3. Scan the numeric barcode “8” from the “Digit Barcodes” section inAppendix.
4. Scan the Save barcode from the “Save/Cancel Barcodes” section inAppendix.
5. Scan the Set the Maximum Lengthbarcode.
6. Scan the numeric barcodes “1” and “2” from the “Digit Barcodes” section inAppendix.
7. Scan the Save barcode from the “Save/Cancel Barcodes” section inAppendix.
8. Scan the Exit Setupbarcode.
